About the Storybook:
I've completed my very first storybook. I made it for a terminally ill child. I hope she liked it. I worked really hard on this project, and the story and artworks came straight from my heart. I hope you all like it too.  It's called "Masaya sa Langit", or "It is Happy in Heaven". I wanted to lessen the child's fear of death. I'll post all the pictures here at DA, with the original text in the description portion. The original version that I printed out for the child was formatted in Adobe Illustrator. ~*~ This is page 1 of the storybook.. Here's the text (in Filipino on top, with the English translation at the bottom). ~*~ Ako si Angela. Pitong taong gulang ako. Nasa isang ospital ako ngayon. Ang sabi ng doktor ko, malubha na raw ang kalagayan ng aking katawan. Narinig ko ngang sinabi niya kay Nanay na baka hindi na ako gumaling at malapit na akong mamatay. Natakot ako sa sinabi niya, kaya nagtanong ako kay Nanay. -- My name is Angela. I’m seven years old. I’m staying in a hospital right now. My doctor said my body’s condition is already really bad. I even heard him say to Mother that I probably won’t get well anymore, and that I’m going to die soon.
